KSketch is a program that tries to address the need for a tool that allows rapid and effortless creation of 3 dimensional buildings.
The program allows the user to sketch, either freehand or using straight lines, the floorplan of a building complete with windows, doors, annotation and simple objects. This floorplan can then be lifted into 3 dimensions and explored from a 3 dimensional viewpoint. Assumptions are made about the objects to be drawn such as the height of walls and windows. These assumptions are designed to reduce the amount of decisions the user has to make therefore reducing the complexity of the program

This program was originally developed as part of my Computer Science MSc dissertation at Manchester University.
KSketch is no longer being developed. Maybe some day in the future I will start again or maybe someone else may like to have a go. Email me if you would be interested.
